There are a lot of changes taking place on Saba these days. A great deal of these changes will affect you as a business owner in your daily life. And there is a fair chance some of the changes will also affect you in your wallet!

The Saba Business Association (SBA) has regular meetings with both the local government and the delegations of the central Dutch government to safeguard the common interests of the businesses on Saba and to emphasize their point of view. It is important for the SBA to represent as many businesses as possible to have significant influence. We would like to point out to you the many things we did last year.
In 2009 / 2010 the board of the SBA has held numerous meetings with the tax office and the Ministry of Finance about the new tax laws. We are convinced that our effort has influenced the Minister of Finance and the proposal he made in Parliament has changed due to our input. Besides that we involved in the establishment of a Chamber of Commerce and we were consulted about the state of local government, politics and administration, amongst many other subjects.
Here you find a list of all the meetings the board of the SBA has held in 2009 and 2010:

We hope to get your support so together we can defend our common interests in these times of changes!

The membership of the SBA is only NAF100 per year.
